You are feeling dizzy and your heart is pounding fast. If you don't sit down, you'll fall. Your breath is coming in short gasps. A numbing feeling is being experienced in your hands and feet. You are feeling a tightening pressure in your chest area. You are thinking about a heart attack.
Although you may think something is wrong with you, it is highly unlikely that you are dying. Anxiety is a mental disorder in which a person fears just about anything and they think every outcome will turn out for the worst.
The fear is so intense that it is frightening because they always fear that someone is after them. If you have any type of anxiety disorder, your mind will always be focused on being scared for no reason. You will always feel that your unfounded fear has no solution and that there is no way out. As though you can't do anything, you feel paralyzed. You are frozen with fear. This disorder can occur at any time. An anxiety disorder is more than just one thing. There are different sub-disorders of anxiety disorder.
There are, for instance, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder and other disorders that are related to the anxiety disorder family. Many people all over the world suffer from anxiety attacks. If you are not affected by them, you may know somebody who is. If it is you, you need to know how to help yourself. If it’s someone else, you need to know how to help them.
